Academic Training Centre for Air Traffic Services Personnel

Trainee Air Traffic Controller training at the Silesian University of Technology takes place at the Academic Training Centre for Air Traffic Services (AOSSRL). This centre is part of the Civil Aviation Training Centre of Central and Eastern Europe at the Silesian University of Technology. AOSSRL holds a valid certificate no. PL/ATCO-TO/AOSSRL/1, authorizing the organization to conduct theoretical and practical training for the following ratings:

ADC - Aerodrome Control,
APS - Approach Control Supervised,

Theoretical and practical training using air traffic simulation devices covers topics consistent with Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/340 for the ratings listed above.
