Academic Maintenance Training Organization (MTO) - Part-147

Aircraft Mechanic training at the Silesian University of Technology takes place at the PART-147 Technical Maintenance Mechanic Training Center (OSMOT PŚ). This center is part of the Civil Aviation Training Center of Central and Eastern Europe at the Silesian University of Technology. OSMOT PŚ holds a valid certificate no. PL.147.0021.2017, authorizing it to conduct theoretical and practical training within its ratings for the following categories:

  1. B 1.1 - Airplanes with turbine engines,
  2. B 1.2 - Airplanes with piston engines,
  3. B 1.3 - Helicopters with turbine engines,
  4. B 3 - Airplanes with an unpressurized cabin equipped with a piston engine with a maximum take-off weight of 2,000 kg or less.

In the theoretical scope, courses and examinations are conducted covering topics in accordance with  Regulation (EU) 2023/989, for the categories mentioned above.
