Piotr Koper, PhD

Assistant professor, researcher and lecturer at the Department of Heating, Ventilation and Dust Removal Technology. He studies the operation of ventilation systems and environmental parameters, specializing in measurement techniques. He also conducts CFD simulations.

He defended his doctoral thesis in December 2013, and has been employed at the Department since then. In 2017, he completed a six-month internship at the HML Projekt design office as a designer’s assistant.

He is currently researching single-duct ventilation with heat recovery storage exchangers, and also participates in measurement work conducted at the Department. As part of his teaching, he teaches, among others, the following programs: AutoCad 3D, Revit, Ansys.

Apart from his scientific activities, he is involved in the computer network and IT support at the Department.

His additional interests include broadly understood DIY and 3D printing, as well as amateur programming. At the Department, he is responsible for the development and production of measuring equipment components, laboratory stands, research prototypes, etc.
