Prof. Metin Akay Visited Our Faculty

Yesterday, IEEE Engineering in Medicine & Biology Society (EMBS) Past President Prof. Metin Akay visited Our Faculty. He is the Founding Chair of the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering University of Houston and received the Honorary Doctorate from Our University in 2021. Thanks to close collaboration with him, students from Our Faculty can participate in the International Summer School BioX on Data Science and Engineering in Medicine and Biology (http://2023.biocomplexitysummerschool.org/). This year, Marta Piwko and Zuzanna Łazorko participated in the BioX Summer School and the participants of previous editions from Our Faculty include Natalia Piaseczna. Prof. Akay also visited our students and our IEEE Silesian University of Technology Student Branch.
