Dr. Eng. Magdalena Zięba delivered a lecture entitled “Sol-Gel Method in Integrated Photonics and Nanostructure Technologies” during the Summer School of Microelectronics “Winter 2026”, held on 10–16 May 2026 in Szklarska Poręba. The event was organized by the Student Scientific Association of Young Microelectronics Engineers operating at the Department of Semiconductor and Optoelectronic Devices of Lodz University of Technology.
During the lecture, the fundamentals of the sol-gel method and its applications in the fabrication of photonic structures and nanostructures with potential importance for modern technologies were discussed. The presentation attracted considerable interest from the participants and constituted an important part of the event program.
