On 28–29 September 2026, "Śląski Salon Maturzysty" was held at the Congress Centre of the Silesian University of Technology. The event attracted considerable interest from secondary school students, who had the opportunity to learn more about the University’s educational offer.
The Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology was represented by all of its departments: the Department of Power Systems and Control, the Department of Measurement Science, Electronics and Control, the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, the Department of Power Electronics, Electrical Drives and Robotics, the Department of Mechatronics, and the Department of Optoelectronics. Each department prepared its own stand, presenting its activities and educational offer for prospective students.
