M.Sc. Eng. Michał Sładek was one of the three recipients of the SPIE award presented during the Integrated Optics – Sensors, Sensing Structures and Methods (IOS 2026) Conference. He was recognized for his presentation titled “Biophotonic fiber optic measurement system as an advanced medical diagnostic tool increasing the safety of urological procedures” (co-authors: M. Sładek, M. Procek, K. Barczak, E. Maciak).
The award was sponsored by SPIE – the world’s largest society for optics and photonics – based on an agreement with the Polish Society of Photonics. The competition is aimed at students and PhD students presenting research results in which they participated. Each of the three equal prizes amounts to PLN 1,000.
