GC-MS: Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry

Our research and analytical services include:

  • Separation of sample components over time by gas chromatography, followed by their identification using mass spectrometry;

  • Identification of unknown compounds in complex samples (e.g., contaminants, metabolites, and degradation products);

  • Use of mass spectral libraries for automated compound identification;

  • Precise quantification of individual components, including at trace and ultra-trace levels (fg, pg);

  • Analysis of volatile and thermally stable compounds;

  • Analysis of liquid samples (e.g., dissolved in methanol, water, or hexane);

  • Determination of contaminants in air, water, and food samples.
