On May 15, 2026, the Department of Optoelectronics participated in an international online event: LASER-PRO Excellence Hub, organized for Ukrainian entities using laser and photonic technologies.
Thanks to close cooperation with the Polish Photonics Technology Platform (https://pptf.pl/)and the microEPC Cluster, we had the opportunity to present the achievements of the Department’s research teams in the field of photonic spectroscopic techniques applied to the analysis of anthropogenic contamination in aquatic and atmospheric ecosystems.
Topic: Invisible Threats – How spectrometry reveals hidden environmental hazards
The event aimed to present to our partners and collaborators from Ukraine the Polish ecosystem of laser and photonic technologies, including the research potential of scientific institutions, successful startups, and specialized investors operating in this sector.
