Student cottage
Studying is not just a science. It is also a time for searching, developing passion, and establishing relationships that can last for many years. We invite you to discover and expand your interests - also through involvement in student organizations operating at the Silesian University of Technology. We also encourage you to take part in active tourist recreation and participate in joint trips to the mountains.
The Silesian University of Technology invites you to one of the two university student cottages. The cottage of the Academic Tourist Club Watra is located on Pietraszonka, in the town of Istebna, in the heart of the Silesian Beskids.
On the other hand, Adamy cottage, the Student Tourist Shelter "Pod Solniskiem", is located on the northern slopes of Opuśniok (819 m above sea level) in the Jałowiecki Range belonging to the Żywiec Beskids. Both buildings, Adamy and Pietraszonka, are heated, have running water and electricity, as well as fully equipped kitchens. We strongly encourage you to familiarize with the offer of student cottages, use the tourist facilities at their disposal, and boldly explore the Silesian and Żywiec Beskids.
