“Girls into Science” project
Our PhD student Magdalena Gwóźdź participated in the inaugural gala of the project Girls into Science, which took place in Warsaw. As part of the initiative, under the mentorship of Maria Kurańska, DSc, Eng., Professor at the Cracow University of Technology, she will further develop her academic career.The aim of the project is to promote science as a career path for women—both in research and managerial roles—and to build a support network for female scientists in Poland. This initiative represents a step toward a more equal and fair academic environment.
The initiative includes, among others:
- A mentoring program for early-career and experienced women scientists
- A network of ambassadors supporting women in STEM
- Activities promoting the contributions of Polish women scientists to the development of technology and science
