Our staff on a research internship in China
An interdisciplinary team of specialists from the Department of Organic Chemical Technology and Petrochemistry and the Department of Physicochemistry and Polymer Technology—Kamil Peckh, Agata Wawoczny, Katarzyna Niesyto, and Rafał Gaida—took part in a research internship at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou as part of the CUPOLA project (Carbon-neutral pathways of recycling marine plastic waste).
The collaboration established with Professor Xue Luo’s team opened up new development paths for our researchers, broadening their research perspectives and enabling joint efforts to seek innovative solutions in the field of plastic recycling. During laboratory work and team meetings, the groups exchanged experiences and jointly defined directions for further activities.
The internship is just the beginning of continued cooperation with a leading international research center.
