ALO students in our Department’s laboratories
We had the pleasure of hosting students from the Academic Upper Secondary School of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, who took part in laboratory classes on esterification in our Department of Organic Chemical Technology and Petrochemistry.
During the workshops, the participants independently carried out ester synthesis, became familiar with reaction techniques, and had the opportunity to see what work in a professional chemical laboratory looks like.
This was another meeting as part of our cooperation with ALO — we are delighted that together we can foster young people’s passion for chemistry and show what modern science looks like “behind the scenes.”
