Rafał Krawiec - Neglected "Admiral"
The photo shows a fragment of the former Admiralspalast Hotel in Zabrze. This almost hundred-year-old building is characterized by decorative sheet metal placed on the central part of the elevation. The sheet metal is covered with patina, but rust stains are also visible. The whole creates a unique effect, especially against the background of the surrounding tenement houses, which are not as ostentatious. Currently, the Admiralspalast is waiting for renovation and giving it new life.
