Katowice Symposium of Scientific Circles "Innovative transformations. New trends shaping the future"

Students of SKN "Extraterrestrial Construction" Łukasz Ucka and Marcela Matlosz on 28.05.2024 were participants of the 1st Katowice Symposium of Scientific Circles "Innovative transformations. New trends shaping the future" organized by the Scientific Circle Manager of the University of Economics in Katowice at the Center for Modern Information Technologies CNTI of the University of Economics in Katowice at 5 Bogucicka Street.

The topics of the meeting were very diverse and integrated many fields, providing opportunities for deliberation, discussion and constructive arguments.

At the Symposium, presentations were given by as many as eighteen Speakers from six Universities and Universities, including the Upper Silesian Academy, the Universities of Economics and Medicine in Katowice or even the Uniwesyt Lodz and the Academy of Applied Sciences in Nowy Sacz. As a result, the participants were able to learn about different perspectives of development and watch what name technological progress bears in different spheres and sectors of the economy.

During the Event, representatives of the Silesian University of Technology from the Faculty of Civil Engineering gave a presentation entitled: "Extraterrestrial Construction - Is it possible?".

The paper received great interest from the Audience and raised many questions.

In addition, the event was enriched by a meeting at a panel discussion with Graduates of the "Entrepreneurship and Finance" course and former members of the Management Research Circle "Manager".
