BIOGRAPHY NOTE:
Tomasz Grzejszczak, in 2010, graduated from the Faculty of Automatic Control and Robotics at the Silesian University of Technology in the field of macro-faculty with a specialization in automation. In 2010 he started doctoral studies. In 2015, after defending the thesis "Hand landmarks detection and localization in color images", Tomasz Grzejszczak was awarded the title of doctor of technical sciences in the discipline: Automatic Control and Robotics with specialty: computer vision and image processing. Currently, since 2018, he is an assistant professor at the Department of Automatic Control and Robotics.
SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS:
My research interests focus on practical applications of signal processing algorithms in: 1 (time series), 2 (images) and 3 (depth maps) dimensions, mainly in the field of robotics. I use signals from various sensors to create human-robot interaction and develop algorithms for intuitive control and interactive motion planning. I am interested in computer vision, image processing, deep learning and convolutional networks.
Ongoing research (R&D):
- Integration of inertial sensors into a Human-Robot Interface for intuitive control of a hydraulic manipulator on an ROV object
- Development of a media data selection algorithm using neural networks.
- Time series processing for financial data analysis
