Biography:

He graduated from the Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science of the Silesian University of Technology in the field of Automatic Control and Robotics, specializing in Robotics, in 2003. In 2003-2008 he was a PhD student at the Institute of Automatic Control of the Silesian University of Technology in the Department of Control Theory. On September 30, 2008 he defended his doctoral dissertation "Computer vision and robotics methods in molecular docking". On October 29, 2008, the Faculty Council awarded him with the title of doctor of technical sciences in the discipline of Biocybernetics and Biomedical Engineering and specialization in Computational Biology. Since 2008, he has been working at the Institute of Automatic Control as an assistant professor at the Department of Systems Engineering and Biology.

  • Computer aided drug design (Early Drug Discovery)
  • Advanced methods in molecular modeling (TMD, SMD, tau-RAMD)
  • Physiology based modeling of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics
  • Data mining in biology and medicine
