3rd International Radiocarbon in the Environment Conference
The 3rd Radiocarbon in the Environment Conference (RIE III) is going to be held at the Institute of Physics – Center for Science and Education, Silesian University of Technology, Gliwice, Poland. Continuing the success of the first RIE Conference held in Belfast 2014, and the second held in Debrecen 2017, we would like to invite you to discuss the role of the radiocarbon method in the environmental research. The topics of interest of RIE III includes radiocarbon in:
- the atmosphere (carbon dioxide, methane and other gases, aerosols)
- terrestrial environment
- freshwater and marine environment
- past and present climate research
- anthropogenic pollutions
- bio-components.
We plan additional sessions for related study, such as development in sample preparation and measurement technique, statistical tools for data processing etc. Separate session on stable isotopes will be organized by Jacek Pawlyta.
