“AI in drones and robotics" - this is the motto of the Droniada Tech by Silesian University of Technology conference, which will take place on June 1st and 2nd during the X Droniada at the Silesian Planetarium in Chorzów. Admission to it is free!
The discussion on the development of artificial intelligence raises a lot of controversy and spreads more and more. It is cast as the perpetrator of future misfortunes. Is there anything to be afraid of? The Droniada Tech by Silesian University of Technology conference will try to dispel these myths.
Its leitmotiv will be the positive aspects related to the use of AI in drones and robotics. Participants will talk about what competencies are needed to master AI, or when it is not worth using autonomous AI systems, as well as about the challenges related to AI in the economy and society. In addition, legal and safety aspects related to the use of drones, for example in urban mobility, will be presented. There will also be a topic "AI: when to say stop? The prospect of AI development in the context of military and civilian applications.”

Over 30 speakers will present at the Silesian Planetarium. The list includes scientists from the Silesian University of Technology, Warsaw University of Technology, AGH University of Science and Technology, Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology, Main School of Fire Service; representatives of drone and IT companies and the Sectoral Council for IT Competences; experts of the Łukasiewicz Research Network - Institute of Aviation and Łukasiewicz - Institute of Innovative Technologies EMAG, as well as the Metropolis GZM and the Mikromakro Institute Foundation.
