Exhibition "CLEANTECH - technology for a green future"
Can technology save the world? This question will be answered by a touring exhibition which will visit the Silesian University of Technology on 5 April. The Swiss Embassy in Poland is the organiser of this exhibition.
As a world leader in innovation, Switzerland is constantly striving to achieve the sustainable development goals adopted in the UN Agenda 2030. The exhibition "CLEANTECH - technology for a green future" will present innovative solutions developed by Swiss scientists and entrepreneurs in the areas such as water management, agriculture, electromobility, recycling and energy.
As a result of technological development, people have dramatically changed the living environment on Earth with its positive and negative aspects. To reduce our negative impact on the environment and climate, we need to start implementing green habits and new technologies as soon as possible.
To inspire others to work together for a sustainable future, the Swiss Embassy in Poland is presenting a touring exhibition at partner institutions in the largest Polish cities.
From 5 April 2022, the exhibition will be on display at the Centre for New Technologies (CNT) of the Silesian University of Technology. The official inauguration will take place at 2 p.m. The Rector of the Silesian University of Technology Professor Arkadiusz Mężyk and the Swiss Ambassador to Poland Jürg Burri will open the exhibition.
The inauguration will be followed by a discussion panel for university students on "Science and economy for a green future". The exhibition at CNT will be open to the public from 5-26 April 2022.
