The Summer School of Entrepreneurship is underway
The 10th edition of the Summer School of Entrepreneurship, organized by the Student Career Office of the Silesian University of Technology, is underway. This week - until August 5 - the working hours of career counsellors are extended to 18:00.
The main goal of the Summer School of Entrepreneurship is to strengthen competences in the field of entrepreneurship, IT, language, communication and management competences among participants. Participation in classes makes it easier for students to enter the labour market, and for graduates and employees to function in the work environment and achieve success in their professional field.
Trainings and workshops carried out during the summer as part of the Silesian University of Technology project as a Modern Education Centre based on research and innovation include: AutoCad design in 2D and in 3D space; visualization of WinCC industrial processes; a course in welding sheets and pipes with fillet welds using the TIG method; artificial intelligence in Python; analytical problem solving - a workshop that educates analytical competences, the art of presentation and public speaking - a workshop that educates communication skills; assertiveness and cooperation - a workshop educating communication competences.
There are also language courses in the form of certified training.
In addition, the Student Career Office offers language training to improve language competences in the field of specialist / industry vocabulary - the thematic scope is selected in accordance with the studied field of study. Student Career Office (BKS) invites students of the last four semesters of full-time and part-time 1st and 2nd degree studies.
There are also internship programs - the Silesian University of Technology is a modern European technical university. Student Career Office (BKS) invites students of the last four semesters of first-degree studies and all second-degree students of full-time and part-time studies.
