“Science is not only useful, but also interesting. By organising Researchers' Night, we want to encourage everyone to have fun with science and make a virtue of necessity. Science means making dreams come true, it means thinking about the future. We want the youngest participants of our workshops, encouraged by the presentations and exercises, to take up studies at Silesian University of Technology or any other university in the future and join the group of creators of the future” said the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology, Professor Arkadiusz Mężyk.
“For the 16th time, driven by passion, we encourage you to discover the secrets of science. Please use this unique opportunity to ask questions, above all, in the field of technology. I wish you an amazing experience this evening” said, during the opening of the Researchers' Night, the Vice Rector for Infrastructure and Promotion, Prof. Tomasz Trawiński.
“We want to open scientific doors which seem to be very hard to open. Science seems to be hidden in laboratories, but we want to open them and invite both the young and the elderly to experiment together” says Prof. Aleksandra Ziembińska-Buczyńska.
