Professor Józef Głomb passed away
It is with deep regret that we inform you that on the 13th of December, 2021, at the age of 94, prof. Józef Głomb, member of the Polish Academy of Sciences, a long-standing employee of the Silesian University of Technology, bridge builder, scientist and writer, passed away.
The funeral ceremony will take place on the 20th of December, 2021. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 am in the Church of the Elevation of the Holy Cross in Gliwice, 2 Daszyńskiego St. The procession to the place of eternal rest will take place after the mass, from the gate of the Central Cemetery.
