On Thursday, January 30th at 04.00 p.m., another webinar on the topic “The Challenges Poland Will Face in Building Nuclear Plants” will be held, which will be conducted by Dr Andrew C. Kadak and Dr Brian McDonald.
Poland in Silicon Valley Centre invites all interested participants to the webinar “The Challenges Poland Will Face in Building Nuclear Plants”. The webinar will be led by distinguished scientists. Dr Andrew C. Kadak is a former president and CEO of Yankee Atomic Electric Company and a professor of nuclear engineering practice at MIT. Dr Brian McDonald is the chief engineer and vice president of Exponent Inc. in Silicon Valley. Dr McDonald conducted a seismic risk assessment and a review of USDOE’s nuclear power plant and nuclear facilities.
In the description of the webinar, we read: “As Poland begins to implement new nuclear power plant construction projects and their subsequent commissioning, we can draw many lessons from recent nuclear power plant construction projects around the world. There are many traps and obstacles. Being aware of this, we will minimize delays and budget overruns, as well as avoid possible cancellation of the necessary energy facilities. The seminar aims to discuss some of the challenges in the hope that they can be successfully overcome.”
The webinar will be available on the Zoom platform. Link: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/83150668274?pwd=uVC5tOrpx4p5CwKECQGaT6sriievOG.1
