The enrolment for the international competition is now open – the James Dyson Award, aimed at young engineer-inventors. The call is open until 6 July 2022.

Are you an aspiring engineer? Give wings to your project by entering the James Dyson Award competition. This year the winners of the national stages will each receive 27,000 PLN, their projects will win a prestigious award. The winners of the international stage can win up to 162,000 PLN.

The James Dyson Award competition is one of many activities initiated by Sir James Dyson to show that inventors and engineers can change the world. It has already supported over 285 inventions with cash prizes. The James Dyson Foundation runs the competition; it is a charity dedicated to support the engineers education.

The competition task is to build something that solves a problem. The starting point could be something annoying that we face every day - or it could be a problem on a global scale. The important thing is that the solution is effective and well thought out.

The competition is open to individuals who hold (or have held for at least one semester in the last four years) a bachelor's or master's degree in a subject related to engineering or design. A university located in the country or region where the James Dyson Award Competition takes place must teach these studies.
