Faculty of Applied Mathematics - Cooperation with industry
The Faculty of Applied Mathematics has signed cooperation agreements with several companies from the industry, including:
At the end of 2016 the group of companies cooperating with the Faculty was extended by WASKO, a large-scale IT company, whose experts participate in extensive consultations on the computer science major programme.
The Faculty of Applied Mathematics pursues the policy of cooperation with industry through a wide range of activities, e.g. dissemination of internships offered by cooperating companies, organization of promotional meetings associated with internship and job offers for students of the Faculty, conducting consultations with current and projected educational programs, as well as exchanging information on the implementation of the educational program and promoting students’ achievements. During classes, it is possible to carry out preliminary selection of candidates on the basis of requirements specified by our partners.
We cordially invite all companies to cooperate both on the improvement of educational program and the implementation of joint research projects which require the use of mathematical methods and models, as well as computing apparatus.
