Faculty of Chemistry - International cooperation
Members of the Department of Inorganic, Analytical Chemistry and Electrochemistry cooperate with both national and international partners in terms of transferring research results into the industry.
The scope of international cooperation includes the following activities:

Participation in “ZEROBRINE” project under the Horizon 2020 programme in cooperation with partners from 12 EU countries (Topic: Systemic, eco-innovative approaches for the circular economy: large-scale demonstration projects). The project is coordinated by TU Delft and the task of our department is to design and deploy a pilot plant to produce concentrated brine from coal mine water using membrane processes.
Research cooperation of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Process Design includes collaboration with few international universities and research institutes, such as Delft University of Technology and University of Freiberg.
