On 19 October 2018 at the rectorate of the Silesian University of Technology  a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed.

The MoU was signed between the Silesian University of Technology represented by the Vice Rector for Science and Development, Professor Marek Pawełczyk and the Erbil Polytechnic University, represented by Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Doctor Nageb Toma Rassam.

This expanded collaboration among Polish and Iraqi universities.

Doctor Nageb Toma Rassam spent two days at our University visiting the following faculties: Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Automatic Controls, Electronics and Computer Science,  Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering.
