Awards in the PROGRES 3 Consortium competition distributed

The award ceremony for "The Best Progress 3 Master Thesis Award 2017" competition, organized as part of the Progres 3 consortium activities, took place on Tuesday, July 3, during the BIN@Gliwice2018 conference at the Education and Congress Center.
 
The awards were presented to the winners by the Vice-Rector for Science and Development of the Silesian University of Technology, prof. Marek Pawełczyk. In the Economics and Finance category, a graduate of the Silesian University of Opava - Nicola Rusková won. In the next categories, the first place was taken by the graduates of our university. Jakub Bodys won the category of Raw Materials, Energy and Environment, in the category of Health and Applications in Healthcare - Kamila Dydlińska, while in the category of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering - Krzysztof Kubiczek. In the category of Competitive Engineering and Materials Research, Paulina Cieśla took first place.
 
The Progres 3 consortium includes fifteen universities from three countries - Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Each of the consortium's universities could submit up to two entries to the competition in each of the five thematic categories. The winners of the best master's theses received prizes of 1 000 PLN. Congratulations!
