SUT’s employee in the Council of Young Scientists

Michał Niezabitowski, PhD, from the Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science, was appointed to be a member of the Council of Young Scientists. It is his second term of office in the advisory team. Mr Niezabitowski is the only representative of Silesian universities in the Council, which consists of eighteen members.


The main goal of the Council of Young Scientists is to promote solutions and mechanisms that support the environmental performance of young scientists in Poland. Tasks of the Council include identification of existing and future barriers to the career development of young scientists, preparation of recommendations regarding instruments to support their careers, familiarizing them with funding mechanisms for science, as well as supporting the contacts of young scientists with representatives of economic environment and institutions implementing innovative solutions in science.


As a representative of the Council of Young Scientists, Michał Niezabitowski participates in meetings organized by the Conference of Rectors of Polish Academic Schools, the Conference of Rectors of Polish Technical Universities, the University Science Committee, the College of Vice Rectors for Science and Development, as well as selected conferences organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
