On Sunday afternoon, March 4th, the Conference of Rectors of Polish Technical Universities took place in the Senate Hall of the Silesian University of Technology.
On Monday, March 5th, the second edition of the EDUAL conference will take place, under the title of “Dual Studies in response to the needs of Industry 4.0”, as well as the 20th edition of the Engineering Job and Entrepreneurship Fair. The conference will be transmitted online.
The EDUAL conference, just as in the previous year, gathers representatives of the academic and socio-economic environment, who will discuss the most optimal model and forms of student education.
The event is organized by the Silesian University of Technology, together with the Katowice Special Economic Zone (KSEZ). This year, the first session was participated by the Rectors, who took part in the Conference of Rectors of Polish Technical Universities the day before.
The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education, Jarosław Gowin was a special guest of the EDUAL conference.
This year’s edition is also special due to the presentation of the Silesian Centre for Industry 4.0, first of its kind in Poland, which will officially start its activities. Numerous guests from abroad have arrived to take part in the conference, willing to present examples of good practices in the field of dual education.
The event is accompanied by the 20th Engineering Job and Business Fair. For both events, the admission is free of charge. More information can be found at the Dual Education (EDUAL) conference website.
