Silesian University of Technology is one of the European Partners in the Erasmus+ programme for Capacity Building in Higher Education project titled "Furthering International Relations Capacities and Intercultural Engagement to Nurture Campus Diversity and to Support Internationalisation at Home" (acronym: FRIENDS).
Project started in November 2018 and will last for 3 years. FRIENDS main goal is to strengthen the involved Asian universities‘ internationalisation capabilities and to develop their students' global competence through the purposeful integration of intercultural dimensions into the universities‘ formal and informal curriculum.

Kick-off meeting took place on 4-9.03.2019 in Kuala Lumpur.
Silesian University was represented by Grzegorz Kłapyta, PhD Eng. (project coordinator at SUT) and Aleksandra Synowiec, PhD (researcher at the Faculty of Organization and Management).
