  Why coming at an University that I have never heard before?
That is the question, a lot of people would ask. Actually people just know names of universities that appear in movies or tv series. But do you know anything? There are more centers of education than you know, more things than you expect, there are more posibilities than you can imagine, and more people that you could meet. I took a year in Politechnika Slaska and it was not just an adventure far away from where I lived for years, but a chance of getting to know new things and new people as well. Think about it, where I live it does not happens so often, in Gliwice it happened every day.
Gliwice is a city located in Upper Silesia and it hosts the main campus of Politechnika Slaska. Silesia is not an isolated region within Central Europe, it is just in the middle of everything. You will be able to travel to a lot of countries without difficulties.
The staff of Politechnika Slaska always has paid attention to our problems and questions (what it is just the opposite that I have experienced at my university).
So, future student, don’t be afraid of asking too much.
